Loose Credits...

With our love of shows like Penn & Teller's:Bullshit, The Skeptics Guide To The Universe, debunker James Randi and Star Wars, I just had to link to this:

Uncomfortable Questions: Was the Death Star Attack an Inside Job?.

Too funny. It's a tongue-in-cheek bit of satire, inspired by some users on the James Randi Educational Foundation(JREF) Forum. It's what if the story of the destruction of the Death Star was written by a conspiracy theorist under the rule of the Empire and how they think that it was an inside job kind of like these conspiracy theorist sites like 911truth.org or the internet movie Loose Change.

I don't know what's more funny and sad though, reading the comments the 9/11 conspiracy theorists left or the Star Wars fans that were offended that their obsession was compared to a conspiracy theory and left hateful comments. The real ironic comments though, were the Star Wars fans who argued as if this was a real conspiracy with facts from the movies to prove it wrong and then ended their arguments by saying the author who wrote it had too much time on their hands.

Both sides need to calm down, relax, and repeat the lines 'This is SATIRE!!!!' and then remember, like Star Wars, it's meant for entertainment purposes only.
