I understand not wanting the kittens to suffer, but come ON! You take them to an animal shelter and let it be handled properly, giving the kittens a chance to find a new home first. There were smarter ways to handle that situation. The fact that a principal was this stupid makes me worry about the education that these children were getting.

Have updated the link from a MSNBC article to the local paper, which has a bit more detail. How big of a white trash community are you that the principal of your school lives on school grounds in a trailer? This place makes West Memphis Arkansas look like Mensa headquarters.
